Open source firmware
g4rb4g3 _
Hi there!
I really like the product itself and got one after the new firmware that connects directly to the car was released.
Sadly the bar didn't get any other firmware updates since then for me and there are quite some issues and lots of possibilities to improve the experience.
So I'd kindly ask you to open source the firmware and let others help out. Doing that will help all of us, the devs out there getting their fixes and features in and you by picking whatever fits your needs and get new releases out.

Thanks for your message — and really glad to hear you’re enjoying the product with the new direct-to-car firmware!
We understand your wish for faster improvements and more flexibility. Open-sourcing the firmware is something we've discussed internally, but at the moment we’re focused on refining the platform and building a stable update pipeline that works reliably for everyone.
That said, we really value input from the community and would love to hear more about the specific issues or improvements you have in mind. We would LOVE to hear them. You can send me an email on vetle.husby@greenmissionstore.com
Thanks again for your support and for reaching out!
Best regards,
Vetle

Greenmission the last update to android was January this is effectively abandonware with zero evidence of any active development. Open source it.

Hi Matt, we are actively developing the FW and SW, and updates are coming, stay tuned :))

Vetle Husby do you care to make a commitment about when you will be releasing these updates? It's been 8 months it's about time to publish an actual product roadmap with committed release dates.

Sorry to say it but I can't see any progress from your side.
The LED still does not remember the last state and is always turned off, the temperature does not match the value the car is showing, there are still no volume controls.... All of these would probably already be done if you would give us a chance to and open source the firmware.
Get us some nice Christmas present and do a nice package of source code for the 🎄!
Thank you very much! 🙂

Hi thank you for the feedback.
I am not sure why the LED state is not saved, and the temp being wrong. This should work on the newest FW. We are using our resources for the Platform launch ATM, but if you can send us a video of this issues we will get back to you on it.

I don't have a reproduction for the temperature issue, sometimes the bar saves whatever value was set but the car defaults back to 22°C (maybe when it's parked for a few days?) and then the bar is not in sync with the car anymore.
Same with dog mode, but that one is easy to reproduce.

So enabling it, enter D, go back to P and the bar is not in sync anymore.
In the video you can also see it disabled dog mode (at the end of the video) after enabling it first, I did only a single press.
