This has been marked in progress since October. Getting the app to connect reliability should be mission #1 for the Ctrl-bar team. Even worse on Android even when connected the app won't send commands unless it is the foreground app (all battery and background limitations for the app in Android OS have been turned off). So me using this delay is typically get in car and close app, reopen app to get it to connect, start driving, usually works but if I use my phone to check a WhatsApp message it doesn't work until I bring the Ctrl-bar app to the foreground and then it sends all commands it hasn't been responding to when it was in the background. We compleately agree that this is by far the most important improvement. We are wokring 100% on this.
In an update coming on June, Ctrl-Bar will connect to the car directly without needing your phone without any additional hardware. We cant wait to publish that free update to all of our customers :)

I also have the same issue with the latest version of the APP. not sure what to do. After the app running some time in the background, it will pop an error says "session end" and it will crash.

Auto re-connect sounds fine but I would like an auto connect without opening the app every time.

Getting the same Loading screen, I have to open Ctrl Bar app then reconnects. Updated to 1.01
